Living Without Abuse (LWA) is hosting its first Dongola Boat Festival, and is looking for Crews of six people to take part. The entry fee per boat is £60 and each crew member is asked to raise £50 or more in sponsorship. It may be possible for the money you raise to be split between the LWA and your own organisation.
The Dongola race and the festival will be a great opportunity for local organisations to come together and publicise their work as well as offer a unique opportunity for team building. No prior experience is necessary, all safety equipment will be provided and the event will be marshalled by stewards. There will be something for everyone - children’s activities, face painting, a bouncy castle, BBQ, outside bar, stalls and live music.
If you are interested in entering a team or would just like to come along on the day, contact firstname.lastname@example.org, Tel. 01509 550317 or 07957 976844
