Charnwood Connect Forum

Forum DiagramCharnwood Connect Forum is a support and networking facility for paid and volunteer advice workers in Charnwood. The forum, which meets four times a year, is set up for local advice workers to:

  1. Provide mutual support and share practice.
  2. Help improve advice pathways for service users.
  3. Strengthen collaboration and develop more joined up advice services.
  4. Monitor social welfare issues and act on issues of common interest.


Forum membership is open to all paid and volunteer advice staff working for Charnwood Connect’s partner organisations. As the Forum develops, there may be opportunities for paid staff and volunteers from other agencies to get involved.


The Forum is an active learning and development platform to enable participants to share issues, ideas, challenges and examples of practice to help improve local advice services.
