Leicestershire County Council has announced the release of its “SHIRE Community Solutions Grant Fund”. The fund, with a total value of £260,000, is for voluntary and community sector organisations interested in developing or running services or activities for vulnerable or disadvantaged people through early intervention approaches.
The application process is in two stages: an Expression of Interest followed by a full application. Groups and organisations can apply for up to £10,000 per annum but it is possible to secure two successful bids in a single financial year with the upper limit for this restricted to £15,000.
